Lost Valley Lake: a Winner in the Heartland

Bay View RV Resort Small towns, fresh air, lush woods and clear lakes are the hallmarks of the American heartland, places like central Missouri. One little burg in that part of the state surrounded by beauty, serenity and rolling hills is Owensville. If you're visiting the area on an RV outing, base your plans around a stay at Lost Valley Lake Resort.

This five-star slice of heaven encompasses 537 acres of natural, undisturbed Missouri landscape. With two large lakes and some smaller ponds, the resort has more than its share of swimming areas (with floating slides and picnic areas), not to mention some prime fishing for largemouth bass, channel catfish, crappie, bluegill and sunfish. The main lake features a boathouse where you can rent canoes, sailboats, paddleboats, sailboards and kayaks ... or bring your own. (To maintain the ecological stability of the lakes, only electric motors are allowed.) Read more

Three New Destinations from Enjoy America!
Gold Rock Ranch

If you're looking for some winter fun in the sun at a Southwestern paradise where you can buzz across the desert in a dune buggy, explore a legendary old gold mine, play some sand golf – or just relax beside the pool – historic Gold Rock Ranch may be just the vacation choice for you. This full-service RV resort, campground and mobile home oasis is located in the Southern California desert, shouldering the Arizona border, about 22 miles northwest of Yuma, via I-8 and S-34.

Rice Hill RV Park

If Oregon figures in your future travel plans take note of Rice Hill RV Park, a brand new park, ideally located at exit 148 (Rice Hill) off Interstate 5 between Eugene and Roseburg. This is a great locale, close to the coast (at Reedsport/Coos Bay) and with plenty of nearby attractions, including Wildlife Safari, Seven Feathers Casino at Canyonville, the historic Old Town of Oakland, and for the sportsmen, there’s river fishing on the Umpqua.

Vineyard RV Park

Vineyard RV Park, in Vacaville, CA, is perfectly positioned for the RV vacationer looking to visit the Napa or Sonoma wine valleys or that famous city by the sea, San Francisco, just 60 miles to the west. Other popular nearby attractions are the Jelly Belly Factory, a huge candy factory that turns out 150 different candies, including the legendary "Jelly Belly" jelly bean, and Cache Creek Casino and Spa, just 37 miles northwest of Vacaville.   Read more about all 3 parks.
