Affiliated Resort
A resort approved to participate in the RPI network and agrees to provide privileges to RPI members.
Home Resort
The RPI affiliated resort at which an individual becomes a member.
Host Resort
The RPI affiliated resort that will be accommodating member reservations.
Member
Any RPI member who is in good standing with their home resort and is current with their RPI dues.
RPI Membership
The basic level of RPI membership with access to the RPI network of affiliated resorts.
RPI Plus Membership
An RPI membership that includes access to public parks that offer discounts through Enjoy America!
RPI Preferred Membership
An enhanced level of RPI Plus membership that provides additional usage benefits only available through an RPI Preferred resort.
RPI Preferred Gold Membership
Additional membership benefits that provide an RPI Preferred member with access to travel and
leisure-related options including hotels, cruises, airfare, car rentals, and condominium resort
rentals through Preferred Access.
RPI Resort
An RPI affiliated private-membership resort featuring a wide range of amenities
and facilities, and may also have some type of rental accommodations, accessible to RPI members.
RPI Preferred Resort
A resort that participates in the RPI Preferred program offering additional
usage benefits to RPI Preferred and RPI Preferred Gold members. RPI
members may use these resorts following the RPI guidelines.
Host Resort Rental Accommodations
Lodging facilities available to rent at affiliated RPI resorts. These may be
motel rooms, mobile homes, chalets, travel trailers, park models, or cabins.
Family Pass
Certificates that allow RPI Preferred and RPI Preferred Gold members to provide their family
and friends access to RPI Preferred resorts for $15 a night. Four certificates are included in the initial
RPI Preferred and RPI Preferred Gold memberships and four additional certificates with
the annual renewal.

Network of independently-owned quality public campgrounds offering RPI Plus members 50% discounts.
AMPS
Unit of electrical measurement (amperage), most commonly in 20-, 30- and 50-amps for RV sites.
RV Site
Facilities to accommodate various types of recreational vehicles. For example, motor homes, campers,
travel trailers, pop-ups, and fifth wheels.
Dry Site
RV site that has no services (water, sewer, or electrical hookups) provided other than space to park.
Partial Site
RV site that includes water and electrical hookups but no sewer hookup.
Pull-Through Site
RV site where it is not necessary to back your RV in or out.
Full Site
RV site that includes water, sewer, and electrical hookups.
Condominium Resort Accommodations
Condominium resorts do not have RV facilities or RV parking. Condominium units range from studios, one
or two-bedrooms.
Resort Group
Two or more RPI affiliated membership resorts owned and operated by a single individual, company, or
corporation.
Peak Weeks
A highly desirable vacation period at resorts. Some peak weeks are associated with tourist-drawing
events that are held regularly during specific weeks.
