This startlingly beautiful park is twelve acres of pines and meadows bordering on Flaming Gorge National Forest, only three and a half miles from Flaming Gorge Dam and Cedar Springs Marina. Fishing is a year-round sport here. The lake is stocked with more than 1.5 million trout and bass annually, with the world record German Brown trout tipping the scales at 33 pounds 10 ounces. The area lends itself to hiking, hunting, rockhounding, snowmobiling. Also, deer, elk, moose, bear and antelope are found in the vicinity. Elevation: 7050 ft. |
