On Hwy 50, this oasis in high desert country boasts 30 full grown Russian Olive trees, and several full grown elms. It is near numerous lakes - only two miles from Gunnison Bend Reservoir, which offers bass fishing, swimming, boating, and a beach. If rockhounding is your passion, this area will thrill you with garnets, topaz, Apache tears, red beryl, and trilobites. This resort is a great destination spot for fishermen and rockhounds or a convenient stopover for a traveling member. Elevation: 4600 ft.
 
 


Access may be limited or prohibited Nov - Apr due to weather. Starvation Lake offers over 3,300 surface acres of water. Whether you prefer to relax and have a peaceful time cruising the lake, or prefer a more exhilarating experience water-skiing, Starvation Lake will provide great recreation. Fishing, rockhounding, exploring and hunting are very popular in the area. Elevation: 6509 ft.
 
 


This startlingly beautiful park is twelve acres of pines and meadows bordering on Flaming Gorge National Forest, only three and a half miles from Flaming Gorge Dam and Cedar Springs Marina. Fishing is a year-round sport here. The lake is stocked with more than 1.5 million trout and bass annually, with the world record German Brown trout tipping the scales at 33 pounds 10 ounces. The area lends itself to hiking, hunting, rockhounding, snowmobiling. Also, deer, elk, moose, bear and antelope are found in the vicinity. Elevation: 7050 ft.
 
 


Blue Water Resort is located on beautiful Bear Lake and offers the finest beach-front facility on the lake. Bear Lake is the second largest lake in Utah. Visitors can spend their time relaxing or playing on the beach. For those who prefer water sports, many are available. Elevation: 6000 ft.
 
 


Brentwood Resort is located in the southwest area of the state known as "Dixie" because it serves as a temperate winter haven for northern Utah. There is much natural beauty where the mountains are brightly colored by minerals from the soil. Elevation: 2800 ft.
 
 


Located in the heart of Color Country in southern Utah. Harrisburg Lakeside RV Resort sits on the site of an old ghost town 10 miles north of St. George. Just off I-15 on the banks of Quail Lake. Elevation: 2800 ft.
 
 


The Canyons RV Resort is ideally situated as the gateway to Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks, Lake Powell, and the Grand Canyon, as well as all the other scenic and recreational opportunities of southern Utah. Elevation: 2800 ft.
 
 


Knotty Pine Resort is situated on the banks of the tumbling, tree lined Provo River, almost three miles east of woodland, and only an hours drive from Salt Lake City. You can walk out your back door, through groves of maple and hundred year old junipers, to fish for lunker trout. Deer and elk abound in the mountains nearby. In winter the mountain trails are perfect for ski touring and snowmobiling. Its a very peaceful and quiet park. Elevation: 7045 ft.
